In Alexej Jawolensky's work, I love the colour palette and the simplicity yet excitement in the portraits.

 I picked these images of figure collages because that's something I'd like to include in my own work.

 In Troufa's work, I absolutely love the pale, pastel colour palette, and how her pieces look unfinished, it gives me a see through, magical feel when I look at them

 Fang Lijun's stuff is just crazy, yet it seems so simple... I love how busy his stuff is, and how much emotion I feel looking at it.

 Again, Marie Fox inspires me with the colours used, bright and vibrant, in the last 2 I also like the sort of borders she did around the figure and how the figures are outlines with dark marks. It sounds stupid but it makes the figure look important and dominant.

Xiaogang Zhang and Yue Minjun's works are very different from what I have seen before, I am really glad to have came across these on google, It highlights the fact that a figure can really be represented in any way and that really inspired me.
