I'm enjoying shooting with a digital camera. It's very time taking, to get these photos looking how they are I had to go through a lot of failures first, figuring out the settings for a certain situation is what I'm trying to learn from this. Very much worth it. All together I've took about 500 photos out of which I like those 6 the best.

| Shadows. I think this is a good photo because the shadows, textures and colours just feel right. The shadow sits perfectly on my cats face and behind his right ear. |
Portrait photography in the studio was a lot of fun, using the tripod and the dimmed light really expands what you can do. Putting the shutter right down was successful as the tripod was there to support the camera. The dimmed light made the photographs feel really warm and created interesting shadows. I am looking forward to shooting in the studio again.
3rd portrait lighting is great!
