some pics i took this weekend

I like how you can see both the plant and the shadows it makes. The way the shadow lays on the creme wall creates a nice contrast. The composition works well I think because the shadow is a lot darker in the right bottom corner and in left top corner.

Attempting macro photography. I do like this photo although I could do it better. The colours are pretty and I like the way the light is exposed.

Portrait of murdo at his happiest. I like it

Trying to capture the freaky sky on saturday, it is not what I wanted it to look like as I really couldn't figure out the settings.

Re-living childhood memories with Murdo, we went out at night wearing jammies after midnight, completely sober and felt like kids. Just capturing the moment turned out to a pretty cool photo and it's great because he actually looks about 10 hahaha

I looooove this one. The texture of Cati against the leather sofa looks cool. Her profile view is pretty cute too, I think this photo works well compositionally.

More ugly natural photos, well, with sudocrem on my face to get rid of spots. This fits in with my true self theme because I am trying to change the way nature works instead of being happy with the way I am.

I like the shadows. I used to be really self conscious in photos because of the way the light lays on my nose but now I actually kinda like it. It's the same with drawing my self portrait, I like to exaggerate my nose so it looks even bigger and embracing it.

The "big moon" wasn't even that big last night and it was really cloudy so could hardly see it. But managed to get a better shot this morning at 7am this morning. For astrophotography I would need to invest in a tripod and bigger zoom lens.
