Is it possible to look at something and know what settings you need to take a photo of it? I seem to have to go through about 10 photos before I know what settings to use for the photograph to be right. But then what is right? How do I take a good landscape photo? How is it meant to look like? Or is it like painting where I take it my way and it's the right way as long as it feels right?
Speeding through all my units and getting lots of work done in a short amount of time has led me to the point where I'm almost done but not quite and now everything I do I question to the point I'm more confused and curious than anything

Over exposed, shutter speed was at 160 and aperture was too low as well. |

So I took the shutter speed right up and the aperture to like 22. It looks a lot better - ver dramatic. But it looks nothing like it actually looked in real life? How do I take a picture that looks like real life??????? |

How do I take a good photo of the sun rise? Do I get the whole sky in it? |
 |
Do I zoom in? Do I want the trees and the houses to be silhouettes? Do I want it to look like this? I don't knowwwwwwwww |
