Thanks to my new craft knife
My craft knife snapped last week which put me behind on re-doing my front over. The reason I wanted to re- do it was because there were some minor and some more significant faults in my previous one in terms of the cutting. This one is much improved as I used a ruler to cut the letters.
The reason this works as a front cover for VIEWPOINT MAGAZINE, is because the magazine is a new magazine, new - something that hasn't been designed before, something up-to-date, something different and something original.
The typography of "VIEW POINT" is half and half, the VIEW is my creation on photoshop and the POINt is Helvetica Bold.
Original? Yes.
The purpose of my Image lying underneath my type is for entertainment, it gave me the ability to play about with the placing of the images and selection of parts of the face in what place. I chose the round mouth of trump for the O as it fits perfectly. That goes with Trump talking shit.
Obviously everybody can tell who this is even though pets of the image are missing,but that gives a sense of mystery and makes people more interested.
